Abigail Anderson Lucier is Taylor's best friend. Taylor spoke about their friendship during an interview with Oprah:

"[...] My best friend, Abigail, we met when I was 15. First day of school freshman year we sat next to each other in English. She wanted to be a swimmer and go off on a college scholarship for swimming and I wanted to be a singer. Now she's off at Kansas on a swimming scholarship and I'm singing." - Taylor Swift

Over the course of the years, Abigail appeared in multiple of Taylor's music videos. She's also the subject of Taylor's song "Fifteen", which talks about their freshman year at high school in Hendersonville, TN.

Abigail went to college in Kansas at the University of Kansas. At the time, Taylor said that her favorite thing to do on her day off was to go visit her there. During her freshman year, Abigail also brought Taylor to her 400-student "Journalism 101" class, after Taylor had wrapped her "Fearless Tour" in Missouri.

Upon earning a Bachelor’s degree, Abigail worked with veterans from World War II, insuring they got proper compensation. “She's so passionate about it and it couldn't be more different from my career, but the fact that she is so passionate about what she does allows her to be able to relate to me on that level, that I'm so dedicated to what I do,” Taylor told Entertainment Tonight of Abigail's career choice in 2014.

On September 2, 2017, Abigail got married to Matt Lucier, a professional photographer. The wedding was in Edgartown (Martha's Vineyard) - Taylor was Abigail's maid of honor.

Selena Marie Gomez (born July 22, 1992) is an American singer,  actress and producer and is one of Taylor's oldest and best friends.

They met backstage at a Jonas Brother's concert, all the way back in 2008. Since then, the two have formed a close friendship. Taylor calls Selena the "little sister she never had", while Selena has called Taylor her "mentor" and has described her as an "old soul".

Selena was a special guest at the last US show of Taylor's "Speak Now World Tour" at Madison Square Garden in 2011. Together, they sang Selena's song "Who Says". In 2015, they sang "Good For You" at Staples Center, when Selena was a surprise guest at Taylor's "1989 World Tour".

The two have been seen at many red-carpet events together. Nowadays, if they both attend the same event they're automatically seated next to each other, without having to hand in a request.

Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran (born February 17, 1991) is a Grammy Award-winning English singer-songwriter who is one of Taylor's best friends.

The two collaborated twice: On the song "Everything Has Changed" from Taylor's "RED" album and "End Game", which appears on "reputation".

Ed, who is from the town of Framlingham in Suffolk, England, has achieved tremendous success in his career, having had multiple worldwide hits and being an inspiration to countless young singer-songwriters.

Ed was a fan of Taylor's even before the met. After he had played a gig in Nashville, he met Scott Borchetta, Taylor's label president, and told him that he'd love to write with Taylor. Borchetta reportedly laughed and told him to "get in line". Around the same time, Taylor was on tour in Australia, when she heard Ed's song "Lego House" on the radio. A few weeks later, the two met each other for the first time in early 2012. Ed went to visit Taylor at her cottage in Los Angeles. That afternoon, they wrote "Everything Has Changed" on the trampolin in Taylor's backyard. Ed has said that when he “met her it kind of felt like we were the same age. We both play guitar, we both wrote songs, so it wasn’t like I was meeting Taylor Swift right now, the superstar. When I met her she had done a couple of albums and was very big in America but hadn’t broke England yet, so I wasn’t aware of her level of fame until I went on tour with her.”

Ed was the opening act for all of Taylor's shows on the North American leg of the "RED Tour". Every night, they performed "Everything Has Changed" together. Since then, the two have remained very close.

Lily Maud Aldridge (born November 15, 1985) is an American model. She is a Victoria's Secret Angel and a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue modelas well as one of Taylor's closest friends.

Lily was born in Santa Monica, California, and grew up in a fashion-oriented family. She is the daughter of English artist Alan Aldridge and Playboy Playmate of the month Laura Lyons.

On September 20, 2010, Us Magazine reported that Aldridge was engaged to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill. They met in 2007 at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. The couple married on May 12, 2011, at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. Aldridge gave birth to their daughter, Dixie Pearl Followill, on June 21, 2012, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Taylor and Lily met backstage at a Kings of Leon concert in 2008. Since then, they have formed a close relationship. Lily was also the one, who asked Taylor to perform at the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" in 2013. Lily's daughter Dixie and Taylor are very close - Dixie calls Taylor "Aunt Taylor".

Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor (born November 7, 1996), better known by her stage name Lorde, is a Grammy Award-winning New Zealand singer-songwriter who is a friend of Taylor Swift's.

Lorde has achieved great success in her career. Her 2013 hit "Royals", hit number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won her two Grammys. Her sophomore album "Melodrama" was named the best album of 2017 by multiple publications.

Lorde, who is very outspoken and opinionated, has spoken fondly of Taylor in various interviews despite once calling her a bad role model in 2013. They have become good friends since then, texting each other regularly and supporting each other on social media. Lorde attended Taylor's 24th birthday party in Melbourne, Australia. They also attended cooking classes together, and Lorde was a special guest on Taylor's "1989 World Tour".

Martha Hunt (born April 27, 1989) is an American model who is a close friend of Taylor's.

Born in Wilson, North Carolina, Martha was discovered by a photographer in Charlotte, North Carolina, who introduced her to several modeling agencies. She later moved to New York and signed with IMG Models.

Martha has become well known for her work with Victoria's Secret, having posed for their catalog and walked in their famous runway show since 2012. She is also the inspiration for the apparel and lifestyle company Free People. She has posed on the cover of many magazines including Vogue, Elle Australia, and Harper's Bazaar. She has walked in runway shows for designers like Armani, Versace, Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney, and Jason Wu among others.

Martha and Taylor have become close friends after the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" in 2014. The two love animals and enjoy cooking and baking amongst other things. Martha spent the 4th of July at Taylor's home in Rhode Island multiple times and also celebrated Thanksgiving with her and her family in 2016.

Martha also appeared in the "Bad Blood" music video as a character named Homeslice.

Jaime King and Kyle Newman are close friends of Taylor's.

Jaime King (born April 23, 1979) is an American actress and model. She was discovered at age 14 in 1993 and appeared in Vogue, Mademoiselle and Harper's Bazaar, among other fashion magazines. From 1998, she moved into acting. From 2011 to 2015, she starred in the television series "Hart of Dixie".

Kyle Newman (born March 16, 1976) is an American filmmaker whose directorial work encompasses a number of feature films. He has also directed music videos for some of the industry’s top artists including Taylor (“Style”, "Clean" (for the "1989 World Tour")), Lana Del Rey (“Summertime Sadness”) and created the video content for Taylor’s "The 1989 World Tour" featuring wife Jamie, Cara Delevingne, Selena Gomez and more.

In January 2005, while working on the set of Fanboys, Jamie and Kyle met. Within three months of dating, the two moved in together. Newman proposed in spring 2007, and the two married on November 23, 2007, in an "intimate and relaxed" ceremony in Los Angeles at Greystone Mansion, where Newman had proposed.

On May 3, 2013, it was announced that King and her husband were expecting their first child. Their son, James Knight Newman was born October 6, 2013. In 2014, she revealed her struggles with endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome, which led to infertility. King suffered five miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy prior to her first successful pregnancy.

In February 2015, King announced she was pregnant with the couple's second son. Their second son, Leo Thames, was born July 16, 2015. Taylor is his godmother.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are close friends of Taylor's.

Blake Lively (born Blake Ellender Brown; August 25, 1987) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Serena van der Woodsen in the CW teen-drama television series "Gossip Girl" (2007–2012).

Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Golden Globe nominated Canadian actor.

Blake met Ryan while filming "Green Lantern" in early 2010, and the two began dating in October 2011. They bought a home in Bedford, New York in June 2012, and got married on September 9, 2012, at Boone Hall in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. They have two daughters: James and Ines

The couple spent the 4th of July in 2016 at Taylor's beach mansion in Rhode Island and the two are mentioned on the infamous Junior Jewels shirt in the "Look What You Made Me Do" music video. James Lively is featured on "reputation": She's the baby voice saying "Gorgeous" at the beginning of the song with the same name.

HAIM are an American pop-rock band from Los Angeles, California consisting of sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim and drummer Dash Hutton. Este, Danielle, and Alana are all friends of Taylor's.

Born and raised in a musical family in Los Angeles, Este, Danielle, and Alana grew up playing in cover bands with their parents, honing their musical skills along the way. They started performing together as HAIM in 2007 but didn't officially become a band until 2012. Their debut EP "Forever" helped them get a record deal with Polydor Records as well as a management deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation. Their debut album, "Days Are Gone", which features the singles "If I Could Change My Mind" and "Falling", was released in 2013.

Este, Danielle, and Alana are frequently seen hanging out with Taylor, having opened for her on several dates on the "1989 World Tour". The four went on vacation in Hawaii in January 2015, and have spent multiple 4th of July's at Taylor's home in Rhode Island.

Todrick Hall (born April 4, 1985 in Plainview, Texas) is an American rapper, singer, actor, dancer, director, choreographer, and YouTuber and a close friend of Taylor's.

Todrick rose to prominence on the ninth season of American Idol, where he made it to the semi-finals. Since then, Hall has become notable as a YouTube star and judge on "RuPaul's Drag Race".

He met Taylor after he got invited to "Loft 89" on the "1989 World Tour". Previously, he had posted a successful YouTube video of a mashup of Taylor's songs on "1989". They have since become close friends. In 2016, Taylor went to see Todrick in his broadway show "Kinky Boots" and spent the entire evening backstage with the crew, taking pictures with everyone. A few weeks later, Todrick spent Thanksgiving with Taylor and her family in Rhode Island.

Todrick was also a dancer in Taylor's music video for "Look What You Made Me Do" and was on set of the shoot of "...Ready For It?". He is always supportive of Taylor, praising and defending her online.

Jack Michael Antonoff (born March 31, 1984)[1] is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer. He is best known as the lead singer and songwriter of Bleachers, and lead guitarist of the indie rock band Fun. He is one of Taylor's closest friends and is one of her most trusted producers.

Jack has said that Taylor "was the first person to ever produce a song by himself". That turned out to be "Sweeter Than Fiction", a song that Taylor had written for the movie "One Chance". The two recorded the song in Jack's apartment in Brooklyn, NY.

Since then, Jack has been one of Taylor's main producers for both "1989" and "reputation". They also recorded "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" for the film "Fifty Shades Darker" together. The two have further collaborated on the following songs:

Cara Jocelyn Delevingne (born August 12, 1992) is an English actress, model, and singer who is a friend of Taylor's.

Cara, who was born and raised in London, began her modeling career in 2009 after signing with Storm Model Management. She has walked in runway shows for designers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar de le Renta, and Chanel among others. She has been on the cover of various magazines such as Vogue UK and W magazine. She was also featured in the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" in 2012 and 2013. Cara decided to quit modeling in 2015, citing stress as one of the reasons.

Taylor and Cara met at the 2013 "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show". The two have been friends ever since. Cara appeared in Taylor's music video for "Bad Blood" as the character Motherchucker. They also let each other stay at their respective homes - Cara at Taylor's rented apartment in New York and Taylor at Cara's house in London.

Emily Jean "Emma" Stone (born November 6, 1988) is an American actress who is a friend of Taylor's.

Emma, who was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, has acheived success as an actress with hit films such as "The Help" and "The Amazing Spider-Man". She earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 2014 film "Birdman and won an Academy Award for "Best Actress" for her role in the 2016 film "La La Land".

Emma told MTV that she met Taylor Swift at the Young Hollywood Awards in 2008f, where she listened to some of her music and then decided to email her. They then started hanging out together after that. Emma is said to be the matchmaker for Taylor and her boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

Patrick Alwyn is  Joe Alwyn's younger brother, who is Taylor's boyfriend.

Patrick is mentioned on the Junior Jewel's shirt in the "Look What You Made Me Do" music video, attended the London "reputation Secret Session" and accompanied Taylor when she visited a fan in London before the release of "reputation".

Hayley Nichole Williams (born December 27, 1988) is the lead singer of the rock band Paramore and a friend of Taylor's.

Hayley has achieved great success with her band Paramore, having such hits as "Misery Business", "Crushcrushcrush", "Decode", and "The Only Exception". She even scored a hit with the rapper B.o.B. on his hit single "Airplanes". 

In September 2011, Taylor Swift brought Hayley on stage with her at the Nashville stop of the "Speak Now World Tour" to sing "That's What You Get". Hayley also appeared as The Crimson Curse in the "Bad Blood" music video.

Whenever Taylor is having a party in Nashville, Hayley is there. She is also friends with Abigail Anderson.

Jelena Noura "Gigi" Hadid (born April 23, 1995) is an American model, television personality, and music video director who is a close friend of Taylor's.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Gigi, the oldest of three, started her modeling career at age 2 when she was discovered by Paul Maricano of Guess and began modeling for Baby Guess. She later put modeling on hold so she could focus on school but resumed her career in 2011 after signing with IMG Models. She has since appeared in ads for Guess and Tom Ford and has her own line with Tommy Hilfiger.

Gigi has been dating former One Direction singer Zayn Malik since November 2015.

Taylor and Gigi have become close friends after they met in early 2015. They enjoy going on hikes together. Gigi appeared in the "Bad Blood" music video as the character Slay-Z. Taylor and Gigi have spent multiple 4th of July parties together and Gigi is one of the few people that are mentioned on the infamous Junior Jewels shirt in the "Look What You Made Me Do" music video.

Claire Kislinger is one of Taylor's best friends, as her name is found in the secret message of "22".

Taylor mentioned once in Cosmopolitan Magazine that Kislinger works with a jewelry designer. 

The two are often seen together with Dianna Agron, Selena Gomez and another non-celebrity friend of Taylor's, Ashley Avignone.

Ashley Avignone is one of Swift's closest and best friends. Her name is the first to appear in the secret message of Swift's song, "22". 

According to Cosmopolitan Magazine, Avignone is a designer who lives in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Swift and Ashavignone are often seen together dressing up or attending parties together with Dianna Agron and Claire Kislinger.
