In January 2013, Taylor was offered an endorsement deal by Coca Cola to promote their Diet Coke beverage. She happily obliged, making a reported $26 million in the process. Taylor’s deal included a series of commercials and print ads.
Taylor, a self-proclaimed Diet Coke drinker, was the face of the brand’s “Stay Extraordinary” platform, which celebrated self-assured and aspirational people who enjoy Diet Coke as part of their daily routines.
She served as an ambassador for several Diet Coke initiatives and played a role in key marketing efforts for the brand -- including TV, print and digital advertising, as well as retail and experiential activations.
“I’ve said for years that Diet Coke just ‘gets me’ and my lifestyle,” Taylor said. “I’m so excited about our new partnership.”
The collaboration gave fans exclusive opportunities and access to Taylor. Diet Coke’s social media channels served as a backstage pass, offering a rare glimpse into Taylor’s extraordinary life and career through videos, photos and updates.
The brand also co-sponsored and provided special access to her "RED Tour", "1989 World Tour" and "reputation Stadium Tour".
