Andrea Swift (Mother)
Andrea Finlay Swift was born January 10, 1958 in Pennsylvania; the daughter of an engineer who worked throughout Southeast Asia, she spent her first years in Singapore.
Back in the U.S she settled in Texas, where she worked as a mutual fund marketing executive. She later met husband Scott Kingsley Swift, a Merrill Lynch financial adviser; the couple tied the knot on on February 20, 1988. They had two children, Taylor and her brother Austin. In 2012, it was reported Andrea and Scott had separated after 24 years. Andrea has appeared in a couple of Taylor's videos. In 2015, she was diagnosed with cancer. In a heartfelt letter, Taylor encouraged her fans via Tumblr to ask their parents to get a check-up and be conscious of their health.
Austin Swift (Brother)
Austin Swift was born on March 11, 1992. He is the younger brother of Taylor.
He is a freelance photographer for Getty Images. Austin and his sister were raised in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania as Presbyterians.
He attended the University of Notre Dame, and has had his photographs appear in People Magazine and Rolling Stone Magazine. Austin Swift is an actor, known for "I.T." and "Entertainment Tonight".
Scott Swift (Father)
Scott Kingsley Swift was born on March 5, 1952 in Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States.
He is the son of Archie Dean Swift (1914-1998) and Rose Baldi Douglas (1920-1994). He graduated from the University of Delaware in 1974. Scott married Andrea Gardner Finlay (1958) on February 20, 1988.
He established the Swift Group, a financial advisory group that is part of Merrill Lynch. When Taylor sought to pursue her career in music, Scott relocated his company to Nashville, where he works as a top adviser and First Vice President.
Joe Alwyn (Boyfriend)
Joseph Matthew Alwyn (born February 21, 1991) is a British actor who has been dating Taylor since September 2016.
Born in North London, Joe secretly wanted to be an actor despite his introverted personality. He joined the National Youth Theatre in his late teens and studied English literature and drama at the University of Bristol, from which he graduated in 2012. He earned a BA in acting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama shortly after he had graduated from college.
He got his first role in the 2016 film "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk". He appears in the films "Mary, Queen of Scots" and "The Favourite".
Reports of Joe's relationship with Taylor first surfaced in May 2017. It was later revealed that Taylor's friend, actress Emma Stone, had played matchmaker for the two.
Marjorie Moehlenkamp-Finlay (Grandmother)
Marjorie Moehlenkamp-Finlay was the grandmother of Taylor.
She was born on October 5, 1928 in Memphis, Tennessee, a daughter of Elmer and Cora Lee Morrow Moehlenkamp.
She was an opera singer, which influenced Taylor into pursuing a career in music. She and her husband lived with Taylor and her family until her death on June 1, 2003 in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Robert Bruce Finlay (Grandfather)
Robert Bruce Finlay was the grandfather of Taylor.
He was born on November 8, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Lance George and Eleanor Meyer Finlay.
He served in the United States Military. He and his wife lived with Taylor and her family until his death on April 24, 2003 in Reading, Pennsylvania.
