Taylor's "reputation Stadium Tour" came to an end Wednesday night (Nov. 21) in Tokyo, Japan after seven months, 53 dates and plenty of accrued mileage. Toward the end of the show, Taylor, seated behind the piano, opened up to the crowd about her appreciation for the entire run.
"I'm so lucky you care about anything I create, whether it be music or a stage show," she said, playing a few notes on the keys as background music. "Thank you for coming tonight. Thank you for coming to be a part of my life. I love you."
The impressive tour brought in some eye-popping numbers: Taylor recently won top U.S. tour at the Billboard Live Music Awards, edging out Ed Sheeran and the Beyoncé and JAY-Z joint tour. She also earned nominations for top world tour and for top tour & top draw as well an an American Music Award and a People's Choice Award for the tour.
The "reputation Stadium Tour" has also been full of surprises, with Taylor bringing out some of her older hits for acoustic, b-stage performances on each night of the tour. Among such performances were renditions of "Come Back...Be Here," "I Know Places" and "Breathe."
