Taylor Swift hit the "Saturday Night Live" stage, starting with a slickly choreographed rendition of "…Ready For It?" before later returning to croon "Call It What You Want".

The musical performance marked the first time Swift has graced the variety show since 2009, and on the heels of her latest album release, "reputation", the production read like a reaffirmation of her reputation as a star  if not the ones critics remember, then the one she's chosen to be.
