Taylor Swift’s pre-"reputation" discography includes numerous songs that fared well in the United Kingdom. Three peaked at #2, and others earned lower positions in the Top 5.
It does not, however, include a #1 UK hit.
This week, the first "reputation" single accomplishes what no previous Taylor Swift song achieved: it claims the top spot on the Official UK Singles Chart.
Powered by mammoth first week sales and streaming numbers, "Look What You Made Me Do" debuts at #1. It seizes the throne from Dua Lipa’s "New Rules", which spent the past two weeks on top.
